The Citizens Institute for Character (CIC) is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where any enrolled youth can participate in out-of-school-time activities & events, receive academic support, gain leadership skills, connect to peers and resources, meet and spend time with their mentors, and achieve their goals. The CIC is open each day during the school week after school, and all day during the summer 5 days a week! The CIC is host to a clothing closet, food pantry, hygiene supplies & devices for homework! The CIC also serves as a venue for youth development education for community youth workers, educators and partners.
