This is the program that started it all! Our flagship mentoring program: Kids In The Middle! Our community-based prevention model is designed to provide support and guidance to 'At-Promise' youth. Youth are enrolled in the 4th through 8th grades and may stay in their match throughout high school. Through one-to-one mentoring, students and mentors spend a minimum of one hour per week for one year engaging in community activities, fostering friendships, and building essential social skills.
Referrals to our program come from school counselors or other administrators who recognize the need for additional support for students facing various life challenges. These students, often described as being "in the middle" of difficult situations, benefit greatly from the positive influence of an adult role model.
Our Kids In The Middle mentoring program adheres to Mentoring Best Practices, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and impactful. As a designated Quality Based Mentoring program, we are proud to rank in the top 5% nationwide. We are dedicated to empowering responsible, caring adults in the community with the tools and resources necessary to guide our youth toward a healthy and fulfilling future. Join us in making a difference!
