Klamath County Run for Kids Half Marathon and 5K Run/ Walk

Who: All runners, walkers and race walkers are invited!
What: Half marathon and 5K run/walk in beautiful Klamath Falls
Where: Steen Sports Complex, Foothills Blvd, Klamath Falls, Oregon
When: June 27th, Half Marathon and 5K start at 8 AM
Why: A great race, perfect training run for the Crater Lake Rim Runs, and you get to raise money for a great organization!
Course: Challenging, hilly half marathon course, faster 5K course in Steen Sports Complex
Fees: Preregistered runners: $40 half marathon, $30 for the 5K (check payable to Citizens for Safe Schools, Register by June 15th, Visa/ Mastercard accepted, High Performance TShirts for pre-registered runners)
(day of: $50 half marathon, $40 5k, Checks, Cash, Visa/Mastercard accepted)

Support mentoring while enjoying a challenging, scenic run! Citizens for Safe Schools, a 501c3 non profit, is hosting the Klamath County Run for Kids half marathon and 5 K run/walk. The 13.1 mile half marathon and 3.1 mile (5K) road race will raise money for the 'Kids in the Middle' mentoring program and character education in Southern Oregon.

The course is a tough minded runners dream; hilly and scenic. Race amenities will be top notch and the feeling you get from not only accomplishing your goal but helping young people, will be immeasurable!
